Fabrication
All Ferhōm products are manufactured, machined, and finished in our workshop on Montréal’s South Shore. Each component is crafted with precision by our team, combining proven craftsmanship with modern technologies. This local approach allows us to maintain full control over every step of the process.

High-performance Partners
Ferhōm products achieve optimal thermal performance through advanced thermal break components integrated into the steel profile systems supplied by our European partners. These profiles are manufactured by Ottostumm in Italy and Jansen in Switzerland, and are then fabricated and assembled by Ferhōm into complete door, window, façade, and skylight systems.
Ferhōm uses steel profile systems supplied by Ottostumm-Mogs (Italy), which incorporate thermal barriers made of glass-fiber-reinforced polyamide to deliver excellent thermal performance. These high-quality profiles form the foundation of Ferhōm’s locally fabricated door and window systems, significantly reducing heat transfer between interior and exterior environments.
Façade and skylight systems by Ferhōm are fabricated locally using steel profile systems supplied by Jansen Steel Systems (Switzerland). These profiles incorporate high-strength structural designs and integrated thermal breaks with glass-fiber-reinforced polyamide insulating bars, providing excellent thermal insulation and energy performance.

Sealed unit
Ferhōm doors and windows are equipped with double or triple insulating glass units, composed of 6 mm glass, a low-E coating, and argon gas fill. This configuration provides an optimal balance of natural daylight, UV protection, thermal performance, and energy efficiency, ensuring exceptional comfort throughout the year.
Based on project requirements, orientation, and client preferences, we offer a wide range of glazing options that can be customized unit by unit to optimize energy efficiency and interior comfort according to solar exposure and performance priorities. Available options include tempered or laminated safety glass, acoustic glazing for noise reduction, impact-resistantor security glazing, as well as extra-clear (low-iron), tinted, patterned, or etched glass. Specialized solutions such as bird-friendly glazing and self-cleaning glass are also available.

SolidWorks 3D
Each Ferhōm door and window is designed using SolidWorks, a computer-aided design software that enables precise technical modeling of each project based on site measurements taken inadvance. This advanced tool allows us to anticipate every design detail with exceptional accuracy, ensuring flawless execution during fabrication and seamless integration into the building.
Thanks to the capabilities of SolidWorks, we can also integrate electrified hardware systems or alternative opening mechanisms to meet specific project requirements,delivering fully customized solutions suited to the most ambitious architectural designs.
