Door and window systems are designed to meet Canadian climate requirements in addition to offering unparalleled aesthetics. Thanks to the profile depth of 75 mm, the W75 TB makes it possible to integrate highly efficient insulating glass (double or triple glazing), up to 52 mm thick, to optimize energy efficiency. Ferhōm doors and windows combine ultra-fine and aesthetic lines with high thermal and acoustic performance, while guaranteeing the durability and reliability of demanding architectural structures.

Composition

Ferhōm doors and windows consist of 75mm or 83mm deep steel posts and crosspieces, connected by a thermal bridge break made of polyamide reinforced with glass fibers. This design makes it possible to integrate high-performance insulating glass, double or triple, up to 57 mm thick. Steel, available in galvanized, corten or stainless steel, ensures exceptional rigidity and ultra-thin profile lines, maximizing the glazed area and the supply of natural light, while offering durability, high level thermal and acoustic insulation.

Our door and window profiles are available in stainless steel for a natural or burnished finish, in corten steel for an assumed patina and in galvanized steel for a uniform baked paint coating and in widely diversified colors.

Breakage of the thermal bridge

Thermal bridge break with reinforced polyamide

To meet Canadian climate requirements, the thermal barrier is provided by a polyamide insulation reinforced with glass fibers, offering excellent thermal performance. This material is at the same time robust, lightweight and highly insulating, significantly reducing heat transfer between the inside and the outside.

The thermal insulation obtained in this way allows the system to reach U values compatible with the requirements of Passive House Canada buildings. The system is also equipped with double EPDM seals, ensuring excellent resistance to water and wind.
